What is the Teacher Education SIG?
The Teacher Education SIG is a network of foreign language instructors dedicated to becoming better teachers and helping others teach more effectively. We have been active since 1993. Our members teach at universities, high schools, and language centres both in Japan and other countries, and network in three ways:
- Via our newsletter which examines education and teacher development issues, ideas, and theories
- Via conferences, workshops, and seminars in Japan
- Through this website and discussions in our Yahoo! group
